People of Chinese origin have a high uncertainty avoidance index, according to the dimensions of the Lewis model.  The low tolerance to uncertainty levels is reflected in the discipline that Chinese people have had since childhood or in the education of their children. Thus, it is likely that in the first place, a Chinese person in Barranquilla is faced with a problem with respect to the programming or anticipation of activities and learning space without taking into account the issue of the level of improvisation with which they would have to face with respect to extracurricular and even recreational activities that this Chinese student could do with their peers in Barranquilla. On the other hand, it is likely that students of Chinese origin find the issue of the punctuality of the Barranquilleros to be problematic. Considering that many of the Barranquilleros are intrinsically late everywhere at all times, this could represent a significant dissatisfaction among the Chinese, given that in Chinese culture discipline is an important pillar, and punctuality is part of it. Thus, these two aspects would represent a significant problem for Chinese students since they have a high rate of uncertainty avoidance, so thanks to their discipline they have organized their day and in general everything related to their academic and personal projects.
